Thanks Gemz for having us all over and showing us such a good time! My lamps turned out amazing... orangey goodness... I popped the balloons this morning and put a light in one (I can't decide if I want to put the light near the top or in the middle of the big one)... and I also had a brilliant thought to make this easy process even easier - spray the balloons with spray-glue before starting to wrap the thread around it, that way the thread wouldn't slip around. Oh yeah.
