I stopped by Collage today and chatted with Maggie;) My brain didn't function due to the high level of crafts per square foot. Sorry Maggie! We discussed the party a bit.

Can you think of a signature drink we can serve? We'll have beer & wine for sure. Somthin' goooood......I'll get the signature drink and chips n dips.

Maggie is getting some nibbles like mini tacos and things.

December Crafty Day!

Hey Ladiez!

So, after taking a poll on Sunday, we have decided to move our monthly crafty day THIS month to Monday the 7th, rather than its usual tuesday! We will meet at My house (cause thats where all the card supplies are). I will pick up some more holiday colored papers and enevelopes at work today! text me with any requests!

So, ten (or so) Monday, at Featherz!
Lashez, its been so long since we've seen you, hope you can make it! Orson needs to make holiday cards!

So cute! We try to make a family ornament
every year. So cheesy but so much fun!

Christmas Cards?

Hey Ladiez!

Gemz and I were talking, and we need to make some Christmas cards! Do we want that to be december, or have it as a bonus day if people can make it? I offered up the classroom at Collage on Woodstock, since there is ample table space to work on. I can bring my stuff, there is stuff there, and we can buy papers if we need 'em!

Simple Simon's Birthday Dog Bones Recipe:

preheat oven to 375

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup natural peanut butter
1 cup skim milk

mix wet ingridients in one bowl, dry in another. combine. roll out 1/4" thick sheets and cut out shapes. Bake 15 minutes. Cool on rack.

Now you will never loose the recipe again!

Fun Embroidering!

can I host this time? Next week (the 8th is it?)?

I wanna embroider! I've got lots of patterns (thanks Gemz), and hoops and needles and thread. I can get more tea towels from work, or you can bring a patch of fabric to sew on, or clothes or pillowcases or whatever!

I've also got some patterns I've been designing, and I want some feedback! pretty please.

And Mysticz wants to work on the magnet words, so bring some choice phrases and words to incorporate into the Idle Handz Fridge Poetry Sets! I've even discovered printable magnetic sheets, so once we design it, we can just print and cut it up! genius!

pumpkins on tuesday

We're heading to the pumpkin patch on tuesday, right? Do we want to meet up before to carpool? (my place!?) Orson is excited (he might wear his costume).

Hey all you lovely ladiez!

Gemz and I thought it might be fun to go to the Island and get some punkins to carve! Perhaps we just go and get the pumpkins, drink some cider, and ride the hay ride, and save the carving for our various homes. Cause well, you know those pumpkins don't last when the get carved to early!

Sooooooooooo, what Tuesday works for you all? I know Mysticz is got alot of October (and Leafy is staying at my house), so I don't know if any Tuesday will work for her! The 13th, 20th, or 27th? I vote for the 20th, cause I don't think I will be working that night cause I'm teaching class! Also, if any of you want to come and make some felty earrings, I will be teaching the class that night and might be happy to have a few more bodies to fill it out! I promise not to charge ya!

Okay, lets discuss! Adn hey, lets think on some new projects for november and december! Do you want to make cards again? I could probably host that one at the Woodstock Collage, could be good, hang out in the classroom with lots of space and light. Also a coffee shop nearby and all the supplies we could want!

Hi Ladies. Everyone cool with the third Tuesday at mi casa? Lamps! I got the threaded lamps ready & stands too if you like. We just need to give them our own special touch. Color (they are all white), beads, feathers, more thread, sigh...the possibilities.
Now I need to catch a flight.
P.S. Could you check on Yed at Market this weekend? Make sure he stays in the booth with his game face on;) See you soon!
